Hi, I'm Kathryn!
I am a passionate fundraiser, community builder, and storyteller and have spent the past decade focused on building expertise in fundraising. I have had the privilege of working for a small College, large research University, and an Independent Day School. I believe that diversity of experience makes me stronger as a professional.
I currently work at a University in Connecticut leading a parent gifts program. I am also the founder and host of The Development Debrief LLC. The Debrief podcast has been featured in The Chronicle of Philanthropy and I have been an invited guest speaker for the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Women in Development, CASE programs and more.
Before my current role, I worked at Chapin, which educates girls and young women from Kindergarten through Class 12, on their campaign and then worked in major gifts at Columbia University as a regional officer. While working there, I earned a masters in Strategic Communications from Columbia. I launched my career at my undergraduate alma mater, Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut where I worked in the annual fund with the leadership giving society.
I volunteer at Trinity as a member of its Board of Fellows and locally I serve on the New Haven Reads board. I live in New Haven, CT with my husband.
